Two men convicted of murder after 'senseless' stabbing at Seven Sisters station
Briefly

Kevin Nguyen and Milumo Pedrinho have been convicted for the murder of 33-year-old Ervin Baraku, who was fatally stabbed at Seven Sisters station following an altercation on July 23 last year. CCTV footage captured the attack, leading to Baraku's collapse up the stairs. He was rushed to the hospital but died a week later. Nguyen was found guilty in court while Pedrinho had previously pleaded guilty. Authorities stress the senseless nature of the violence involved and hope the verdict provides some solace to Baraku's family.
"This was an absolutely senseless and tragic attack that resulted in a man losing his life. There is absolutely no place for violence on the railway network..."
"While no prison sentence can ever make up for the loss of a loved one, I hope justice being served can bring Ervin's family some peace after this horrific ordeal."
