""You can't go on the sick because you've got mild anxiety. But it is an attitudinal change that Britain needs. "An attitudinal change to hard work, rather than work-life balance. "An attitudinal change to the idea of working from home. "People aren't more productive working at home - it's a load of nonsense. "They're more productive being with other fellow human beings and working as part of a team.""
""You either work from the office or you're gone.""
""general election war footing.""
Nigel Farage called for an end to the work-from-home culture, describing claims of higher home productivity as nonsense and arguing that employees perform better in office teams. He urged an attitudinal shift toward hard work instead of prioritising work-life balance and said mild anxiety should not be used as grounds to go on sick leave. Farage promised Reform council staff must work from the office or face dismissal. Office for National Statistics data show remote working doubled from 4.7 million in late 2019 to 9.9 million by early 2022, with 28% hybrid and 13% fully remote in early 2025. He also demanded the Prime Minister resign and placed Reform on a general election footing.
