Man guilty of threatening to kill Nigel Farage
"You not know me. I come to England because I want to marry with your sister. You not know me. Don't talk about me more. Delete the video. I'm coming to England. I'm going to pop, pop, pop."
"If you've got an AK-47 tattooed on your arm and your face, it's because you love AK-47s and you want the world to know that."
"young males of fighting age coming into our country about whom we know very little"
Fayaz Khan, 26, an Afghan migrant who arrived in the UK on a small boat, posted a TikTok video threatening Nigel Farage and making gun gestures. Khan's TikTok username "madapasa" amassed hundreds of thousands of views. The video responded to a Farage YouTube post titled "the journey of an illegal migrant" and addressed Farage as "Englishman Nigel", declaring intentions to come to England and saying "I'm going to pop, pop, pop." Khan headbutted the camera and pointed to an AK-47 tattoo on his face. Prosecutors highlighted the tattoos as evidence of obsession with guns. A jury at Southwark Crown Court found Khan guilty.
