The men formerly known as the Central Park Five filed a defamation lawsuit against Donald Trump for false claims made during the presidential debate.
They accused Trump of making false and defamatory statements, which they argue caused them to seek to clear their names in front of millions.
Co-lead counsel Shanin Specter described the suit as a legal effort to redress harm done by Trump's statements, which were false and damaging.
Trump's spokesman dismissed the lawsuit as frivolous, claiming it was an attempt by 'desperate left-wing activists' to distract from Kamala Harris's campaign.
