2 people die in separate incidents at Tahoe's Heavenly resort
"The two fatalities, which occurred at Boulder Lodge on the Nevada side of the resort about noon Friday, are unrelated, and there is no apparent connection between the individuals, the Sheriff's Office said. In the first incident, a spokesperson for Heavenly told South Tahoe Now that members of its ski patrol responded to a report of a 33-year-old man involved in a skiing accident on the intermediate Orion trail."
"In the second incident, the ski patrol responded to "serious medical event" on the Tamarack Return trail involving a 58-year-old man, CBS News said. Both men, who have not yet been identified, were declared dead at the scene. They are the fourth and fifth fatalities at Vail Resorts in Lake Tahoe since Feb. 6. On Wednesday, Colin Kang of Fremont, a skier who went missing at Northstar California Resort, was found dead."
