Todd Pinnell, 54, was arrested Friday night in Lindenhurst after Suffolk County Probation officers conducting a routine search of his home discovered 22 firearms concealed behind a false wall in a basement closet. The recovered weapons included eight assault rifles, ten semi-automatic handguns, and four revolvers, along with multiple ammunition feeding devices. Pinnell was charged with 47 felony counts, including multiple counts of criminal possession of a weapon with prior conviction, possession of assault weapons, and possession of 10 or more firearms. He was held overnight at the Suffolk County Police First Precinct and scheduled for arraignment at First District Court in Central Islip.
