Bloomberg gives $1 billion to Hopkins to make tuition free for most medical students

Starting in the fall semester, students from households earning less than $300,000 will have tuition covered, and those from below $175,000 will have tuition, fees, and living expenses paid for.

Bloomberg's donation aims to alleviate the financial burden on students entering medical, nursing, and graduate schools, where costs often deter enrollment.
