Robert Strother, a 27-year-old man from the Bronx, has been arrested for allegedly torturing and killing his girlfriend, 21-year-old Princesa Encarnacion-Soto. After neighbors recognized Strother while he attempted to return home, they pursued him until police arrived. Upon investigation, Encarnacion-Soto's body was found in a stairwell with signs of brutal attack, including blunt force trauma and multiple stab wounds. Evidence recovered from Strother's apartment revealed additional signs of torture, and his mother, Naida Jorge, was also charged for her involvement in the crime.
