An investigation revealed the motorist knowingly provided a false statement and collision report. The motorist was cited and released. Oct. 25 Residential burglary: Between Oct. 23 and Oct. 25, someone entered an uninhabited residence in the 19000 block of Cox Avenue by forcing a rear door open."

On Oct. 24, a motorist knowingly provided a false hit-and-run statement and collision report and was cited and released. Between Oct. 23–25, an uninhabited Cox Avenue residence was entered by forcing a rear door but no items were reported stolen. Between Oct. 23–26, a residence on Vessing Court was entered through an unlocked front door; a key fob, plastic bins, and silk rugs valued at about $7,820 were taken and the key fob was used to steal a vehicle valued at about $25,000 from the driveway.
