Police discovered a hidden room in G&G Deli and Grocery containing six electronic gambling machines and over $6,000 in cash. The room was accessible only by a remote magnetic latch. Jose Amaya Barquero, 51, was arrested and issued appearance tickets under state Alcoholic Beverage Control law and local ordinance. He is scheduled to appear in court on April 6.
