Michael Boulos proposed to Tiffany Trump in the White House Rose Garden in January 2021. After the engagement, Boulos, his family and associates received financial benefits tied to connections with the Trump family. Boulos sold Jared Kushner an investment in a roughly 160-foot superyacht through his cousin's brokerage; contemporaneous texts and a lawyer's description say the firm overcharged Kushner by about $2.5 million, and Boulos received about $300,000. A separate arrangement promised a Saudi businessperson photographs with the Trumps in exchange for payment; Boulos received about $100,000. Both deals failed: the yacht remains unfinished and the Saudi never received access.
