Napheesa Collier returns to the Minnesota Lynx starting lineup after missing seven games with a right ankle sprain. She averaged a league-high 23.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, 1.8 steals and 1.6 blocks per game and was the clear frontrunner for MVP before the injury. Collier has been sidelined since Aug. 2. During her absence the Lynx went 5-2, with consecutive losses to the New York Liberty and Atlanta Dream. Minnesota maintains a 5.5-game lead over Atlanta for first place and has already clinched a playoff spot.
