Man charged for allegedly stealing from Hingham senior living complex
"On Dec. 7, a resident of the Linden Ponds senior living complex reported a credit card missing from his wallet and fraudulent charges from the day before, when he had left his apartment unlocked, Hingham police say. In the following days, two residents reported interacting with a man claiming to be from a junk removal company. The man, wearing a junk removal company sweatshirt, asked them if they needed any furniture removed, police say."
"This past Saturday, the same man allegedly returned to the complex, claiming to be a rideshare driver to gain access. He was wearing the same sweatshirt when police located him inside the complex, arrested him, and had his car towed, police say. Kevaughn Fagan, 28, is charged with larceny over $250 from a person over 60, daytime breaking and entering for a felony, and three counts of entering a dwelling for a felony by false pretenses, according to police."
"Fagan pleaded not guilty to all charges in Hingham District Court on Monday, according to court documents. Bail was set at $10,000, and he was being held at the Plymouth County House of Correction. He is set to reappear in court on Jan. 13 for a probable cause hearing, according to court documents. The investigation into the series of incidents remains ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact Det. Heather Hermida at 781-741-1443."
