Ilya Perloff, 41, was riding an electronic stand-up scooter west on Fillmore Avenue when he collided with a 2015 Toyota Sienna traveling north on E. 38th Street in Marine Park at about 11:51 a.m. Sunday. The collision threw Perloff into the Sienna and then into a parked Chrysler minivan. The incident involved a 2015 Toyota Sienna and a Chrysler minivan that had been parked nearby. Emergency personnel transported Perloff to Mount Sinai Brooklyn, where he died. The Sienna driver, a 70-year-old woman, remained at the scene and was not injured. Police did not make any arrests in connection with the crash.
