Multiple shooters suspected in Lincoln University shooting; FBI seeking photo, video evidence
"One person was killed and six were wounded in the shooting Saturday night, and one person is in custody."
"Authorities don't believe it was a planned mass attack -- instead, they said, it appears the gunfire broke out suddenly in the middle of the homecoming activities."
"Investigators are reviewing videos from people who were at the scene and are asking anyone with footage to share it with the FBI."
"What occurred last night was tragic for our students, our families, and our community."
A shooting outside the International Cultural Center during Lincoln University homecoming left one person dead and six wounded late Saturday night. The deceased was identified as 20-year-old Jujuan Jeffers of Wilmington, Delaware, who died after suffering a gunshot wound to the head. The six wounded, ages 20 to 25, are expected to recover; one is a current student and another is a graduate. Police believe more than one person fired shots. Zecqueous Morgan Thompson was arrested on a concealed-weapons charge and held on $25,000 cash bail while investigators review videos and seek additional footage.
