NYC nor'easter, coastal flooding warning continue through Monday
"This weekend's nor'easter is expected to sail into the beginning of the week, as a soggy Columbus Day will feature steady rain, gusty winds and coastal flooding concerns through Monday night before conditions improve later in the week, according to the National Weather Service. The wet pattern began Sunday night with a 90% chance of precipitation and overnight lows around 55 degrees."
"A wind advisory and coastal flood warning remain in effect until 6 p.m. Monday. "Widespread minor to moderate coastalflooding expected, with 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 [feet] of inundation aboveground level in vulnerable areas near the waterfront [and shoreline]," reads the coastal flood warning. More rain and wind gusts are also forecasted Monday, as the nor'easter moves through the region. Less than an inch of rain is expected, with a high of 61 degrees."

Overnight precipitation chances reach 90% with lows near 55 degrees and expected rainfall between a quarter and half inch. Monday brings additional gusty winds and less than an inch of rain with a high near 61 degrees. A wind advisory and coastal flood warning are in effect until 6 p.m. Monday, with 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 feet of inundation possible in vulnerable waterfront areas. Rain should taper Monday night, ending mainly before 2 a.m. Tuesday, with lingering showers Tuesday.
