Billie Little worked at Thomson Reuters for nearly 20 years and expressed pride in the company. However, she became concerned about ICE's potential misuse of Thomson Reuters' investigative tools. In February, she and colleagues alerted management about these concerns and requested transparency regarding contracts with ICE. Following the public disclosure of their efforts, Little was terminated. She claims her firing violated Oregon whistleblower protection laws and is suing the company. Thomson Reuters disputes the allegations and is facing shareholder pressure regarding its contracts with ICE.
