Trump fires NSA chief, far-right activist takes credit DW 04/05/2025
Briefly

President Trump has controversially fired NSA Director General Tim Haugh, reportedly influenced by far-right activist Laura Loomer, who criticized Haugh's alleged connections to former General Mark Milley. While the White House has not provided a reason for Haugh's dismissal, it follows a broader pattern of political influence affecting military and intelligence positions. Critics, particularly from the Democratic Party, have condemned Trump's actions as detrimental to national security and indicative of a concerning trend towards partisan loyalty over military competence.
I am alarmed and angered that, at the insistence of a far-right conspiracy theorist, President Trump dismissed one of the most skilled, accomplished officers in the US military.
All Obama and Biden appointees in intel appear to lack integrity and lack the moral clarity to not weaponize their positions...Thus, all Biden and Obama holdovers need to be fired.
