President-elect Donald J. Trump will kick off inaugural events with a party for 500 supporters at his golf club in Sterling, Va., marking the start of ceremonies honoring his presidency.
The club will be Trump’s first stop after landing in Maryland, and he will be joined by family for a celebration that features music, performances, and fireworks.
Mr. Trump's inauguration events will also include a rally at Capital One Arena in Washington and a visit to Arlington National Cemetery before the big day on January 20.
In preparation for the party, Trump’s aides are planning extensive entertainment with hours of music videos and live performances, along with a substantial fireworks display.
