Winston, a gentle and tender silverback gorilla, known for his quiet strength and heart of gold, passes away at the age of 52 in the San Diego Zoo Safari Park.
Despite his imposing appearance, Winston was described by a keeper as having a soft and polite personality, fathered nine offspring, and was one of the oldest silverbacks worldwide.
