A YouGov survey of 1,107 U.S. adult citizens asked whether various issues were 'a problem' for either major party. Forty-four percent labeled transphobia a 'major problem' among Republicans and 24% labeled it a 'minor problem,' while 32% said it was not a problem. Forty percent labeled 'transgender ideology' a 'major problem' for Republicans and 20% called it a 'minor problem,' with 41% saying it was not a problem. Respondents ranked 'hostility toward immigrants' highest for Republican problems and placed transphobia second. Respondents listed 'tolerance of political violence,' 'wokeness,' 'elitism,' 'transgender ideology,' and 'gender ideology' as top Democratic problems, with misogyny, transphobia, homophobia, and hostility toward immigrants near the bottom.
