"I think she's loving the fact that it's, you know that we are talking about her this morning is probably raising her stock with the MAGA base, but, frankly I think what she's doing to the institution of the DOJ and the oversight in Congress is shameful and embarrassment and is going to go down in history as one of the worst performances by an attorney general in front of Congress."
Ana Navarro criticized Attorney General Pam Bondi for embracing a Saturday Night Live sketch in which Amy Poehler and Tina Fey impersonated Bondi and Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem. Bondi posted a response tagging Noem and writing, 'Should we recreate this picture in Chicago? Loving Amy Poehler.' Navarro said Bondi appears to welcome the mockery because it raises her profile with the MAGA base and former President Trump. Navarro called Bondi's conduct toward the Department of Justice and congressional oversight shameful and embarrassing, predicting it will be remembered as a poor attorney general performance. Co-host Sara Haines said leaning into the joke was an appropriate response.
