Jason Itzler, known for his involvement in the Eliot Spitzer scandal, has had criminal charges dropped related to harassment and threatening YouTuber Alex Novell. The Brooklyn District Attorney's office stated that the charges are dismissed. Meanwhile, Itzler has made a name for himself on social media, gaining a following on TikTok and Instagram. The conflict with Novell began when he accused Itzler of murder related to the 2010 death of Julia Sumnicht. Itzler has denied involvement in that case and pleaded guilty to misdemeanor assault in a separate incident involving Novell.
The criminal charges are completely dismissed and gone," Bederow told The Post.
Years after he made headlines for his small part in Spitzer's salacious scandal, Itzler has reinvented himself online.
