"If you read between the lines, the American people are getting ready to blame Trump for failing to protect families and workers."
"69% think AI will eliminate or reduce opportunities for jobs and 45% think it will make the economy worse. 51% think AI will worsen the quality of civil discourse."
49% of respondents think Trump is carrying out a pro-Big Tech agenda when making AI policies. Only 13% believe families or workers benefit the most. 61% say Big Tech has too much D.C. policy influence. 57% support states making their own AI regulations; 24% favor prohibiting states from passing AI laws to avoid a patchwork of rules, and 18% were unsure. 69% expect AI to eliminate or reduce job opportunities, 45% think AI will worsen the economy, and 51% think AI will worsen civil discourse. The survey polled 1,800 registered voters Dec. 17-19, margin of error ±2 percentage points.
