His Instagram and Facebook accounts were banned for alleged violations of "Community Standards on child sexual exploitation, abuse, and nudity," despite him being an adult and not abused. He posted a shirtless photo after top surgery, which drew outrage from major anti-transgender influencers who misgendered him and made false claims about his communication abilities. Leroy communicates via written language, a speech-generating device, and sometimes his own voice, and he says he makes his own medical decisions as an adult.
