Concerned Women for America compiled references to LGBTQ+ themes, characters, storylines, and messaging across 326 Netflix series rated for young audiences (TV-G, TV-Y, or TV-Y7). The organization found that 41% of G-rated series and 41% of TV-Y7-rated series on Netflix contain LGBTQ+ content. CWA labeled Netflix an "active driver" of the so-called "LGBTQ agenda" and highlighted examples sourced from X posts and Libs of TikTok. Penny Nance warned that Netflix's acquisition of Warner Bros., HBO and HBO Max could expand Netflix's approach to content moderation for children and called for government scrutiny and an outside independent council.
