Fighter jets ordered by the White House interrupted a Capitol Hill press conference where survivors spoke about abuse by Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell. Anouska De Georgiou described more than 10 years of abuse, stating that Maxwell was present, complicit, and enabling. Survivors said they still struggle to be heard and called for full public release of Justice Department documents to achieve transparency and accountability. The event was organized by Representatives Ro Khanna and Thomas Massie to push the Epstein Files Transparency Act. The House Oversight Committee released an initial batch of more than 33,000 pages related to Epstein and Maxwell.
