"A loud bang was suddenly heard and Kirk jolted back in his chair, before blood began to pour from his neck and he collapsed. Kirk was rushed to hospital where he later died. The individual suspected of using a single gun-shot - aimed from the roof of a nearby academic building - to kill Kirk in what the authorities have previously described as a "targeted" attack, currently remains at-large."
FBI released CCTV footage showing a suspect running across a Utah Valley University roof, climbing down the side of a building, and fleeing on foot toward a wooded area. Charlie Kirk, 31, was shot in the neck during a 'Prove Me Wrong' event and later died in hospital. Authorities say a single shot was fired from the roof of a nearby academic building in what they described as a targeted attack. Investigators reported palm impressions, smudges and a shoe imprint at the scene and said they are seeking DNA. Utah governor Spencer Cox urged public assistance to find the suspect.
