Rebellion's latest game, Atomfall, marks the company’s biggest launch ever, with 1.5 million players since its release on March 27, 2023. The game's success showcases the team's creativity and the unique British cultural elements embedded within the game, as noted by CEO Jason Kingsley. While the game benefitted from a Game Pass launch, official sales figures were not disclosed. Still, the performance of Atomfall seems to overshadow earlier titles like Sniper Elite: Resistance. Additionally, the game records some unique player interactions, highlighting its immersive experience.
To have surpassed the one million players in such a short space of time speaks volumes for the creativity and dedication of the entire team here at Rebellion.
We are a British company, and the game is a true reflection of that. Not only is it set in the lush, beautiful countryside, but Atomfall also draws inspiration from so many classic British books, films and TV series.
Atomfall has done very well for Rebellion, especially considering it's a brand-new IP. Just recently Rebellion released the very enjoyable Sniper Elite: Resistance.
Unfortunately, Rebellion didn't share any actual sales numbers...they did choose to include some other random numbers.
