Empyreal Will Rip Open The Fabric Of Reality This May, Has Unique Charity System
Briefly

Empyreal, the upcoming single-player action-RPG by Silent Games and Secret Mode, will launch on May 8 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. Set in a world featuring a mysterious monolith, players will explore its depths while tackling questions about humanity's existence. The game integrates action-RPG systems influenced by isometric games like Diablo, allowing for skill customization. Beyond the main adventure, Empyreal offers endgame content, including New Game Plus mode. Unique features include item-sharing through rips in reality, emphasizing player generosity and collaboration.
In a developer diary, creative director Joseph Rogers described Empyreal as a third-person game about "transcendental revelations" that players will discover as they venture deeper into the monolith.
Thematically, Empyreal asks questions about the human condition, its place in the cosmos, and whether societal systems like duty and honor are still driving forces in humanity's story.
Silent Games added that Empyreal will also offer an endgame experience with a substantial amount of content, as well as a New Game Plus mode with features exclusive to a fresh run.
Defeating certain bosses will result in a rip in the fabric of reality, allowing players to send items through to fellow players, significantly increasing their stats.
