Square Enix recently announced a remaster of the classic strategy RPG, Final Fantasy Tactics - The Ivalice Chronicles, set to launch on September 25, 2025, for PlayStation 4 and 5. The revamped edition will offer modern graphics, an updated user interface, and voiced dialogue, alongside quality enhancements like a beginner-friendly Squire difficulty. Nostalgic players can revert to the original graphics and gameplay styles for a classic experience, while new players will benefit from features like auto-save. This update seems poised to appeal to both veterans and newcomers of the genre.
Remasters and remakes seem like they're a dime a dozen these days, but here's one I'm selfishly pretty stoked for.
Final Fantasy Tactics - The Ivalice Chronicles is due out on September 25, 2025 for both the PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4.

Whether you're a first-timer like me or are already well versed in the political intrigues of Tactics, this fall seems like an excellent change to check out the game.
