It's here: Unboxing and setting up our Switch 2 review unit
Briefly

The transfer process from the original Switch to Switch 2 raised concerns over potential loss of saved game files, particularly for major titles like Animal Crossing and Pokémon. However, all data safely migrated. Notably, screenshots and videos required manual transfer via a microSD card. The Switch 2's design feels more robust compared to its predecessor but remains lighter and slimmer than devices like the Steam Deck. Its controls are designed for adult hands though may feel smaller compared to other console controllers, while the Pro Controller 2 maintains familiar ergonomics.
This made the whole process a bit nerve-wracking, though in the end my save files made it through with flying colors.
Still, there's something about seeing the hardware next to an original Game Boy or even a PlayStation Portable that really highlights how far handheld gaming hardware design has come in the last few decades.
While it's still early, we'd expect long-term portable play to be plenty comfortable here.
The unit feels a bit more substantial in the hand than the original Switch, but still a good deal less bulky than portable PCs like the Steam Deck.
