Warhorse Studios has announced that Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 has quickly sold over 2 million copies in just two weeks. It peaked at nearly 174,000 concurrent players on Steam, illustrating its popularity among gamers. The success of the game surpasses that of its competitor, Avowed, which peaked at 12,000 concurrent players due to its early access limitations. With its predecessor selling 8 million copies, the sequel seems poised to perform even better. Embracer Group, the studio’s owner, expressed satisfaction with the success, emphasizing the importance of quality and resources in game development.
"A toast to you all for making KCD2 a triumph!" wrote Warhorse on X.
"The success of Kingdom Come: Deliverance II is a reminder of our core - to bring great products to the market." said Embracer's CEO.
