The game celebrates multiple Batman eras and lets players explore different versions of Gotham as Lego-ified incarnations of Batman. Preorders are available with a $70 standard and $90 Deluxe Edition; all preorders include bonus cosmetics and the batsuit from The Dark Knight Returns. The Deluxe Edition adds new gear, vehicles and up to 72-hour early access beginning May 26, 2026. The Switch 2 release appears to be a full physical cartridge rather than a key-card download. Combat uses Arkham-style free-flow mechanics tuned for younger players.
