The Nintendo Switch 2 is faster - but by how much?
Briefly

The Nintendo Switch 2 is poised to improve the gaming experience with hardware enhancements such as DLSS support and ray tracing. At a recent preview event in New York, testers demonstrated how the load time for fast-traveling in "Breath of the Wild" decreased from approximately 29.85 seconds on the original Switch to 19.2 seconds on the new model, marking a 35% improvement. Additionally, performance in graphically demanding areas, like the Korok Forest, showed a stable 60FPS, indicating a smoother gameplay experience. Though it comes with a higher price tag, the performance upgrades are notable.
In our demo of the Switch 2, we didn't run into any of the same performance issues, with it maintaining a silky 60FPS throughout.
The loading screen on the original Nintendo Switch lasted 29.85 seconds; on the Switch 2, it has been cut down to 19.2 seconds.
