Troy Baker's next starring role is a gritty mouse
Briefly

PlaySide Studios and Fumi Games announced that acclaimed voice actor Troy Baker will voice the protagonist Jack Pepper in the film noir-style game Mouse: P.I. For Hire. Announced at Summer Game Fest alongside a new trailer, the game features a vintage cartoon aesthetic but maintains a dark, gritty storyline set in Mouseburg. Jack Pepper, a military veteran turned private investigator, faces a dangerous world of mystery while investigating a damsel in distress. The game is set for release in 2025 on consoles and PC.
"I have been following the development of Mouse: P.I. For Hire since it was first teased. Its art style, gameplay and 1930s film-noir aesthetic continue to win me over."
"Despite channeling a vintage cartoon aesthetic, PlaySide Studios has made it clear that Mouse: P.I. For Hire isn't playing things safe, describing the game as 'gritty.'"
"The game starts off with Jack investigating a damsel in distress, but it quickly becomes clear that things are not as they seem..."
"I cannot wait to keep working with the team to bring Jack Pepper to life, and hope to have some exciting things to share as we get closer to launch!"
