Vice President JD Vance's former family home in Alexandria, Virginia, was quickly purchased after being listed for $1.69 million. The 100-year-old farmhouse, situated in the Del Ray neighborhood, features five bedrooms and modern upgrades, including an accessory dwelling unit in the backyard. The dark blue home includes five bedrooms, three full bathrooms and one partial bathroom. Despite its age, the 5,750-square-foot residence boasts modern upgrades and fresh design.
The family kept to themselves during their short stay in Del Ray, a predominantly liberal community, the Washingtonian reported.
The November election moved the Vance clan from neighborhood living to the vice president's official residence at One Observatory Circle, built in 1893.
