Monday Quickie - quick divisional review
Briefly

The article discusses how baseball divisions are increasingly losing significance with equal scheduling affecting player travel and overall game quality. It highlights challenges for teams like the Nats, facing strong competitors in their division such as the Phillies, Braves, and Mets. The Phillies have made subtle changes to their roster, losing key bullpen arms but compensating with new talent. Meanwhile, the Braves have seen significant player losses, including reliable relief pitching, which could impact their performance moving forward. The changing landscape raises questions about team competitiveness in upcoming seasons.
Sadly in baseball division mean less and less as they work to more "equal" schedules... appease owners who want to make it as easy as possible to make the playoffs.
It's been tough for the Nats as the Phillies, Braves and Mets have all been good recently and seem committed to winning right now.
Phillies most noticeably lost bullpen arms... If Romero is healthy...it's close to a push as Romano is also very good.
Braves lost quite a few pieces... More importantly they let two arms go in Charlie Morton.
