Five things: Wizards win a game with defense, for a change
Briefly

During their recent stretch of improved performance, Washington has seen its offensive and defensive ratings rank 17th and 16th respectively, showcasing a notable improvement in their game.
Coach Brian Keefe highlighted the importance of defense in their recent victory, stating, 'Sometimes you got to find a way to get the job done. ... We made some really gritty plays, winning plays down the stretch.'
Even in poor shooting performances, effective defense has been key, as seen in the win against the Hornets where the team allowed no scoring for over three minutes.
The Wizards' recent success has been largely attributed to their ability to shoot well from the three-point line, with five of their six wins occurring when they hit 39% or better from deep.
