Wizards are learning the 'rookie wall' is real. Can they overcome it?
Briefly

The sheer scale of the NBA's 82-game schedule is a significant challenge for rookies, who often come from leagues with much shorter seasons. This grind can take a toll physically and mentally.
Carrington noted, 'I've never played this [number] of games, never played this [high] minutes as well. So it's definitely taken a toll ... Can't really dwell on it, it's just something you got to get through.'
George, reflecting on his transition, mentioned, 'I played just 31 games last year and now I've played over 800 minutes. It’s a big step up, and I definitely feel it.'
Sarr seems to be handling the workload better, stating, '[My body is] actually feeling pretty good, I'm not noticing it too much right now ... I'm just trying to do a good job recovering.'
