Duckhorn Vineyards was founded in 1976 by Dan and Margaret Duckhorn, joining an emerging Napa Valley wine scene that gained worldwide attention. Dan focused on advancing modern viticulture to craft world-class wines, while Margaret built the brand’s hospitality and community leadership. With only four winemakers across five decades, winemaking has been led since 2014 by Executive Winemaker Renée Ary, guiding the winery to numerous high industry accolades. The 50th anniversary celebration included sampling old vintages alongside current releases, paired with a menu and enjoyed on a porch with vineyard views.
