Lorena Wiebes of SD Worx-Protime clinched victory at Le Samyn des Dames 2025, executing a dominant sprint finish even without a lead-out. The isolated Dutch sprinter outpaced competitors from Liv AlUla Jayco, securing a notable win on the uphill finish. Linda Zanetti and Lara Gillespie took second and third respectively, with Gillespie impressing early this season following a podium at Omloop van het Hageland. It's nice to win in the spring, and it's nice to do it in this race, and actually, I enjoyed it.
The team did a good job... unfortunately, we lost Elena Cecchini in a crash, so we had one rider less.
