
Melissa Vieira-Greene has been appointed as the NYU ambassador for the MSHLS program, representing the Caribbean and Latin America. Her upbringing in a Guyanese household and Brooklyn instilled values of service and responsibility. A 21-year U.S. Air Force veteran, she focused on leadership and workforce management. Injured in service, she became a Wounded Warrior, deepening her understanding of leadership's impact. After military service, she led International SOS in Guyana and now runs Human Resources Warrior LLC, developing leadership skills in first-generation professionals and women, emphasizing the importance of strong leadership for organizational success.
