Armand Duplantis hits high notes before soaring to 11th pole vault world record
Briefly

Armand Duplantis achieved a remarkable feat by breaking his own pole vault world record of 6.26 metres, clearing 6.27 metres at the All Star Perche meet in Clermont-Ferrand, France. This event marked his 11th record-breaking jump. Alongside his athletic accomplishment, Duplantis released his debut song, ‘Bop’, earlier the same day, which played during his record jump. Duplantis expressed confidence in his performance, emphasizing that everything came together seamlessly for him during the event. He was followed by Emmanouil Karalis, who set a Greek record of 6.02 metres.
I just felt really good, Duplantis said. What can I say, I came here to do it. I put everything in place to do it. The run-up worked really well. I just did it.
When I made this song a couple of months ago, I thought this would be a perfect song to jump to here, Duplantis said. That's why I rushed it out.
