India is launching Cold Start, the largest multi-service drone war games, to test drones and counter-UAS systems across navy, army and air force. Officials plan to strengthen air defenses and create a multi-layered, networked system called Sudarshan Chakra by 2035 as an indigenous air shield. The shift responds to gaps revealed during recent clashes, including Operation Sindoor missile strikes.
