Like everyone, I was captivated by the tech as it emerged in 2022. AI-generated art gave people with no visual arts skills the ability to create interesting concepts easily.
AI generated art has overrun social media feeds, replacing traditional content with bizarre and low-quality creations that often lack authenticity and depth.
Instead of enjoying genuine content about astronomy and history, I now face an onslaught of AI-generated images that look digitally airbrushed and cheap.
There is a sentiment growing that many of us are done with AI-generated art, as the novelty has faded and given way to a flood of 'AI slop'.
