Nearly all writing on the internet is less formal than the writing you see in books and magazines, and the style reflects that...sometimes I have to mess with the style to get the tone of my voice across, using cases, spacing, punctuation, and other cheap tricks.
...Sometimes the question is rhetorical. Sometimes it's a gag. Sometimes I don't want EVERYONE to answer... I'm hardly alone. The rest of the internet does the same shit, and probably stole it from Black Twitter.
