During my experience as a historical re-enactor, I faced the challenge of obscuring my femininity under rough and cumbersome battle gear, while feeling the exhilaration of combat.
The crowds were captivated by the blend of violence and history at the reenactment, cheering as I clumsily performed on the battlefield, embodying the spirit of the era.
My journey into the world of history and re-enactments began with an escape from quarantine, sparking a passion that led to discoveries of treasures and possibilities.
As I crafted my persona as a foot soldier, I drew inspiration from brave women who had fought in history, realizing my own longing to join their ranks.
