RPA19 House Transformation / VAUST Studio
Briefly

Located in Berlin's Karlshorst Rheinisches Viertel, RPA19 reimagines a single-family home from the 1920s as a site of subtle transformation. The residence contains approximately 200 square meters of floor space and underwent a radical yet respectful spatial reorganization. Several interior walls were removed to open up sightlines and merge previously separated areas. The kitchen and dining zones were integrated to prioritize openness and flow. The interventions balance contemporary openness with preservation of the home's original essence. Spatial changes aim to enhance natural light, visual connectivity, and everyday usability while maintaining the building's historical character and footprint.
