Under the Same Eaves is a demountable timber pavilion designed for the 2025 Aranya Theatre Festival in Qinhuangdao, China. Constructed in 14 days, the pavilion serves as the main baijiu tasting station, facilitating social interactions among festival-goers. Designed with three tasting corridors and a compact bar, it promotes spontaneous engagement while offering both communal and private spaces. The structure’s modular design emphasizes sustainability, utilizing two sizes of locally sourced timber and a sandwich truss system for effective construction and minimal waste.
